The Young Collectors Club // Summer Edition

The San Francisco Young Collectors Club, or YCC, invites seasoned and emerging collectors alike to flourish as true patrons of contemporary art. Through membership, individuals are invited to sharpen their grasp of acquiring work and building a collection, the Bay Area art scene at large, and the nuances of navigating the art market.

Hosted four times annually, each YCC is a seasonal offering of 10 artworks by 10 hand-picked Bay Area artists, at an entry-level $1500 and under. Each iteration features a dynamic grouping of emerging and mid-career artists that reflects the region’s true heavy hitters and figures to watch. Portraying a bonafide survey of the field of contemporary art as it currently stands, the reception gives prospective buyers access to a highly selective body of work. Each iteration begins with a private, members-only educational component, oftentimes a roundtable panel with collectors, dealers, or advisors. The evening culminates in a reception open to the public, with many of the artists in attendance. All members receive artwork previews in advance of each salon/reception, as well as a handful of exhibition previews year round.

Beyond these educational panels and salons, YCC offers bespoke art advising, collection management, and art handling & installation. Advanced membership also features patron dinners, private studio visit tours, and art fair packages, expanding YCC’s reach to both the national and international breadth of artists.
